Not only do you have great waves to shoot at Smith’s, but the red rocks also offer amazing colour and contrasting colours of those azure waters in the area.
Earlier this month I took Wedding couple Louise and Richard Bernard to Smiths to add the quintesential West Australian Beach photos to their well co-ordinated collection of south west photos. Firstly we photographed the ceremony at the iconic Caves House on Emily Rose Terrace the on to it’s magestic old ghost gums, romantic bridge spot and gardens.
Then off to the beach! Now be warned, as Louise can testify, it’s not an easy area to shoot in with heels and a designer frock, but as I had a champion bride with the end result at heart, we got some awsome shots. Love your work Louise!! Hope the Jimmies (Jimmy Choo shoes) survived the day!
To top off these compositions we headed to the luxury of Will’s Domain Winery. Before I let them knock back some champers, we shot the last of the days light at this handy little landscaped farm dam. My fist time there – I like it!
